With Saline Tattoo Removal the ink is pushed to the surface as the scab is healing. Results show approximately eight weeks after a procedure and some tattoos will require multiple sessions. Sessions are rated at 90 mins. in length.
Ideal for removing permanent makeup or cosmetic tattoos- such as eyeliner corrections, eyebrows and overlined lips. (Lip tissue cannot be removed, so only the parts of the tattoos that were too far outside the lines can be removed/adjusted.)
For traditional tattoos, most tattoos smaller than the size of a playing card (i.e., roughly ten square inches or 25 square centimetres) can be removed in one 90-min. session.
Saline tattoo removal is recommended for near the eye area, whereas laser tattoo removal is not. Similar to laser tattoo removal, there is no guarantee that the tattoo will become 100% invisible or will completely disappear. Some tattoos will require multiple sessions.
The below examples highlight the progress made after only one session. Most tattoos won’t become adequately removed until at least eight weeks after a procedure and/or after multiple sessions.
