STRETCHMARK Camouflage. ✨ (Top mark is not tattooed, bottom is tattooed to show difference.) A couple months ago I received a phone call from someone who was looking for somebody to tattoo her stretch marks as they were negatively impacting her life and her ability to enjoy herself without being conscious of them, especially in the summer. I initially said I wouldn’t do it, but when I considered that the main premise of the work I do is to help people feel more comfortable in their skin, with who they are and what they have, I reconsidered. This service is for people who have realistic expectations knowing that it will take a few sessions, we need to see it healed to adjust, and it will not tan in the summer or fade in the winter. It was actually quite hard to photograph and this is quite zoomed in to see the differences. In certain lighting it may show up more (the last pic) but the main objective was to trick the eye so it doesn’t see the stretch marks right away and they blend with the rest of the skin. We are both really happy with the results!
