A nipple tattoo can bring back familiarity and draw the eye away from scarring. The tattoo experience is centred around the healing and empowerment that can be felt through restoring the appearance of a natural nipple.

Every appointment has a built-in consultation where you can bring photos or browse our reference pictures to solidify your vision of what you’re looking for. We use a quality ink set with nipple tone colours designed by our friend and mentor, Samantha Rae. Topical anesthetic is available to minimize any discomfort during the tattoo process. Please allow approximately 3 hours for your appointment so the experience does not feel rushed. We also offer scar revision to break up tight or highly visible scarring.

We are proud to have been trained and mentored in the A.R.T. Areola Restorative Tattoo certification program. This training was founded and created by Stacie-Rae Weir, who developed the program to set a formal standard for post-mastectomy specialty tattooing.

Who are Nipple Tattoos for?

Areola tattoos are ideal for any woman or man who has undergone a mastectomy or other kind of breast surgery and is looking to restore the natural look of their nipples and breasts, or for those who have irregular-looking or fading areolas and want to alter their nipple areas so that their breasts have a more natural (or enhanced) appearance.

These procedures are not just for those who have undergone a breast reconstruction after a mastectomy! Areola restorative tattoos / nipple tattoos can also be done without reconstruction, with or without nipple protrusion surgery, after gender top surgery, after birth or for naturally uneven nipples, for enlarging the areola after a breast enlargement and even for changing the shape of your areola (hearts are a fun option!).

How Long Should I Wait before I get an Areola Restorative Tattoo?

People who undergo mastectomies or other breast surgeries experience different emotions- we encourage you to ask questions, look at portfolios and look at this appointment as an exciting step in your healing. This is why it is recommended to wait anywhere from 6 months to 1 year after your last surgery so your skin has a chance to heal. Consultations are free and encouraged!
